OneFPL recalculates mini-league standings as official match data updates. Match points are polled every five seconds during live play while the page is active, subject to network, cache and upstream delays. Overall rank is a separate sample-based estimate, refreshed less frequently. Official FPL also provides live league and bonus updates in 2026/27.
Live totals can differ from final scores while bonus, substitutions and post-match corrections are unresolved. Use this comparison to understand which figures are provisional:

In competitive mini-leagues and top-rank hunting, a player's points haul does not help you in isolation; it depends on Effective Ownership (EO). When a popular premium asset has 140% effective ownership in your mini-league (meaning nearly everyone started him and several captained him), points from that player reduce your relative advantage if you only start them without the armband. Actual rank changes depend on the full standings.

OneFPL recalculates live mini-league standings from the loaded managers and official match data, including provisional bonus and predicted automatic substitutions. Overall rank is a separate estimate based on a sampled score distribution and refreshes less frequently. Live results remain provisional.
Effective Ownership (EO) is the average points multiplier for a player across a comparison group, expressed as a percentage: a starter counts once, a captain twice and a Triple Captain three times. If your multiplier is below the group average, that player scoring reduces your relative points advantage. This does not guarantee a particular rank movement.
Provisional bonus points are calculated dynamically from the official Bonus Points System (BPS) baseline while matches are underway. Bonus is normally awarded as 3, 2 and 1 points to the leading BPS totals, with special allocations for ties. Provisional values can change during matches and after post-match data review.
In official FPL, automatic substitutions are processed overnight after all fixtures in the gameweek have concluded. OneFPL's live table predicts these substitutions in real time: only once a player has no remaining fixtures in that gameweek and has played zero minutes can an eligible bench player replace them, respecting bench order and formation rules.
If your captain registers zero minutes across the gameweek, your designated vice-captain receives the captain's double points multiplier. OneFPL's live table detects when a captain is confirmed absent and promotes the vice-captain in your live standings immediately.
