When does FPL 2026/27 launch?

The Premier League 2026/27 season starts on Friday, 21 August 2026. The official Fantasy Premier League game usually opens a few weeks before the first match, but the exact date is only confirmed when the FPL API publishes the new season. The launch tracker above reflects the real API status, so you will not see a false “launched” message.

What changes at launch?
