Verified 15 October 2026. Yellow-card risk is becoming relevant, but it should not be overstated.
How to use the suspension tightrope
FFS maintains the current list of players approaching one-match bans and explains the applicable thresholds and cut-off dates. (FFS)
For OneFPL managers, use it in three ways:
- Transfer tiebreaker — if two players project similarly, prefer the one without immediate ban risk.
- Bench planning — make sure a yellow-card-risk starter has cover in future weeks.
- Wildcard construction — avoid stacking several fragile assets with rotation/injury/suspension concerns.
What not to do
Do not sell a strong pick solely because a future yellow card could cause a one-match absence. You would be paying a transfer cost for an event that has not happened.

FAQ
Which players are close to suspension?
Use the live suspension tracker because yellow-card totals can change each match.
Should I sell a player only because he is one yellow away?
Usually no. Treat suspension risk as a tiebreaker unless the player already has weak fixtures or role concerns.
When should I recheck?
Again before the GW7 deadline and after every relevant match.
