The short answer
Rolling is a strong default if your starting XI is healthy.
Use the transfer when:
- you own a suspended player such as Foden;
- it creates a major captaincy upgrade;
- the move improves several coming Gameweeks;
- your current starter has a clear minutes problem.
When to roll
Roll if every starter is available, you already own a strong captain and the transfer is mostly sideways.
OneFPL verdict
Do not invent a transfer because you have one. Use it for suspension, role, captaincy or a real fixture swing.
Model both options in Transfer Planner.
