Update: Liam Delap is officially a Nottingham Forest player
The transfer has now moved from deal agreed to CONFIRMED.
Nottingham Forest have signed Liam Delap from Chelsea on a five-year contract.
Reuters reports the fee is a Forest club record at around £45m, potentially rising to £50m with add-ons.
What changes for FPL?
The transfer-status risk has disappeared.
The remaining questions are:
- official FPL club update
- current FPL price
- whether Oliver Glasner starts him immediately
- competition with Forest's other forwards
- penalty responsibility
- registration and availability for Liverpool

Why the move helps Delap
Delap struggled for consistent minutes and form at Chelsea.
Forest are making a record investment, which materially strengthens the expectation that he has been signed for an important role.
That does not make him automatically nailed, but the probability of regular starts is much higher than it was at Chelsea.
Immediate fixture warning
Forest's next Premier League match is away to Liverpool.
That is not a fixture to buy a new striker for purely because the transfer has been confirmed.
Managers can watch the first Forest role and target better fixtures later if the minutes are secure.
OneFPL verdict
WATCH now; potential BUY once role + FPL price are confirmed.
