Nottingham Forest and Tottenham drew 0-0 in Gameweek 3, but the result is far more significant for FPL than a routine goalless draw.

Tottenham have now failed to score in all three of their opening Premier League matches.

Spurs attackers should be downgraded until the attack shows real improvement. Both defences gain clean-sheet evidence, but Forest were the side closest to a winner.

FPL managers can forgive an attack for one quiet fixture.

Three consecutive league matches without a goal is different.

Tottenham's attacking assets now need strong underlying evidence or a major price advantage to justify buying them. Until the structure improves, there are too many other teams offering clearer routes to attacking returns.
