He is less likely to produce attacking returns than Thomas, but he can earn points in matches where Hull defend for long periods.
Best first substitute
A first substitute should have a better role than the final two bench slots.
Cheapest option: Regan Slater
Slater costs £4.5m, the minimum midfielder price. His inclusion is mainly structural. The official early Scout selection also treated his place as uncertain.
Select him only when Hull's final friendlies show a regular starting role.
Safer upgrade: Granit Xhaka
