FPL GW10 injuries and suspensions: early confirmed list

Checked against the Premier League's 31 October 2026 disciplinary update. With GW9 not fully finished and European fixtures still to come, this is an early team-news guide. A confirmed suspension is not the same as an injury doubt; treat the two differently. The GW10 FPL deadline is expected on Friday 6 November at 18:30 GMT.

Confirmed suspensions on the official list

These are the named cases in the official 31 October suspension tracker. The list can change after Sunday and Monday matches or disciplinary decisions, so recheck before publication on deadline day.

The Premier League states that five bookings in a team's first 19 matches generally mean a one-match Premier League suspension. The 4-yellow-card players listed here are not automatically suspended for GW10. Do not describe them as banned.

Injury status that matters for FPL

João Pedro — Chelsea: The Premier League's late-October reporting confirmed that he would miss a few weeks with a thigh injury. He did not play Chelsea's 31 October league win over Manchester United. No confirmed recovery date should be invented. If you own him, compare the cost of a transfer with your bench cover and check the final Alonso update.

Arsenal injuries — Saka, Calafiori and others: GW9 injury questions were still active before Liverpool–Arsenal. Since that match had not happened at the time of writing, this article does not assign fresh GW10 fitness statuses from unplayed action. Check the Sunday match report and Arsenal's subsequent press conference.

Other team news: Chelsea, City and other clubs can pick up fitness or rotation problems in their midweek fixtures. A likely starter and a confirmed starter are not interchangeable terms. Avoid definitive predicted XIs several days before the deadline.

What if you have multiple missing starters?

If just one player is suspended and a bench defender starts regularly, using a free transfer elsewhere may be more efficient. If two or three starters are unavailable, a transfer becomes more urgent. A four-point hit is justified only when expected points over an appropriate window exceed the cost. Use the OneFPL Transfer Planner to check a realistic starting XI and available bench cover.

Final verification checklist for Thursday and Friday

  • Reopen the Premier League suspension tracker.
  • Review any newly reported red cards from Liverpool–Arsenal and Newcastle–Everton.
  • Check midweek European injuries, training updates and coach quotes.
  • Confirm availability in the live official FPL player news and the OneFPL Team News hub.
  • Do not treat a four-booking warning as an immediate ban.
