FPL Rookie League 2026/27: Prizes, Entry Rules and Rank Percentiles First-time FPL managers now enter a global Rookie League automatically. Learn the prizes, qualification rules and new rank percentile features.
FPL has introduced a global Rookie League for 2026/27.
Anyone registering for Fantasy Premier League for the first time is automatically entered.
The league gives new managers a separate global competition while they also compete in the normal overall rankings and private mini-leagues.

What does the winner receive? The official announcement lists a prize package containing:

Who counts as a rookie? A rookie is a manager creating an FPL team for the first time.
A manager with previous-season history does not qualify simply because they:
Create a new mini-league Use a different team name Return after a break Join a new workplace competition Have never finished a full season The qualification is based on being a first-time Fantasy manager.
Where to find the league The Rookie League appears in the General Leagues section.
That is the same area used for official global competitions and qualification leagues.
New managers can still create and join private classic or head-to-head mini-leagues.
