The short answer
FPL offers overall, Cup, Rookie League, monthly and weekly prizes in 2026/27.
The Weekly Manager of the Week competition has extra eligibility rules: managers must join early enough, and a team that uses a chip in that Gameweek cannot win the weekly prize.

Weekly prize eligibility
To qualify for Manager of the Week, the official prize page says you must have:
- Joined before the season started, or
- Joined at least two clear Gameweeks before the winning Gameweek
A team is not eligible for the weekly prize in a Gameweek where it uses:
- Bench Boost
- Free Hit
- Triple Captain
- Wildcard
The chip restriction applies to the weekly prize, not normal FPL points.
Monthly prizes
Monthly rankings combine eligible Gameweek scores within that calendar month.
If managers finish level in a Weekly or Monthly competition, the official FAQ says the winner is the manager with the lowest Team ID, meaning the team registered first.
Do points hits count?
Transfer deductions reduce the Gameweek score used in competitions.
A manager with 100 raw points and an eight-point transfer cost has a 92-point adjusted score.
When is the winner final?
Live ranks and points can change during matches. Official results should be treated as final only after the Gameweek or competition period is processed.
Review assists, bonus, defensive contributions and transfer costs before comparing scores.
Official prizes versus mini-league prizes
Official FPL prizes are provided under the game's terms.
Private mini-league prizes are separate agreements between members. The OneFPL Prize Tracker records rules and winners but does not collect or distribute money.
OneFPL verdict
A weekly prize is difficult to target and should not change sensible long-term decisions.
Managers interested in eligibility should avoid confusion by checking chip use, join date, points hits and Team ID tiebreakers.
FAQ
Can I win Manager of the Week after using a chip?
No. The official prize page says chip users are not eligible for that Gameweek's weekly prize.
How are Weekly or Monthly prize ties decided?
The manager with the lower Team ID wins, meaning the team registered earlier.
Do transfer hits reduce the prize score?
Yes. Transfer deductions reduce the relevant Gameweek score.
Are private mini-league prizes official FPL prizes?
No. They are arranged separately by the league members.
