Fantasy Premier League has introduced an official Price Change Predictor for 2026/27.
The tool tracks transfer activity and estimates which players are moving towards a rise or fall. It gives managers an official source of price-change guidance, but it does not guarantee that a change will happen.
When do FPL prices start changing?
Prices are locked until the Gameweek 1 deadline on Friday 21 August 2026 at 18:30 BST.
After that deadline, player prices can rise or fall. The official changes take place at 00:00 UK time.
How often does the predictor update?
The predictor page is expected to update every 15 minutes.
That allows managers to see whether heavy buying or selling is moving a player closer to a change during the day.
What does the percentage mean?
The tool shows progress towards a potential rise or fall as a percentage.
A value above 100 per cent suggests that the player is expected to pass the estimated threshold for the next update. It is still not a guarantee.
Transfer activity can change quickly. A player shown at 105 per cent shortly before midnight could drop below the expected threshold if enough managers sell him in the final update period.
What labels will appear?
The official interface uses clear descriptions such as:
- Very Likely to Rise
- Likely to Rise
- Likely to Drop
- Very Likely to Drop
