Private mini-leagues turn Fantasy Premier League into a competition between friends, family, colleagues or online communities.
Managers can create or join private leagues up to the current official limit set by FPL. Check the number on the official leagues screen before you plan a large group.
Classic league or head-to-head league?
Classic league
A classic league ranks managers by total FPL points across the season.
It is the simplest format and works well for large groups. The manager with the most points is highest.
Head-to-head league
A head-to-head league creates a direct fixture between two managers each Gameweek.
A win earns three league points and a draw earns one. This format creates weekly matchups and can keep more managers involved even when their overall FPL rank is poor.
Open the invitation link from the league host, or copy the league code.
Sign in to FPL.
Open the join-league screen.
Enter the code if required.
Confirm the league name before joining.
Avoid publishing private league codes in public posts or screenshots.

When standings become final
How ties are handled outside the official FPL ranking
Where group updates will be shared
