FPL deadlines 2026/27: confirmed GW9 and upcoming times
Next confirmed deadline: Gameweek 9, Saturday 31 October 2026 at 11:00 GMT (16:45 Nepal time). UK clocks switched from BST to GMT on Sunday 25 October. Do not reuse a British Summer Time conversion for November deadlines.

For subsequent Gameweeks, check the deadline shown in the official Fantasy app; broadcast selections and rearranged matches may change the fixture calendar. Avoid publishing a full remaining-season table as ‘confirmed’ unless every entry has been verified against the current game.

Why do deadlines change?
The FPL deadline is normally 90 minutes before the first Premier League kickoff of the Gameweek. GW8 started with Friday's Ipswich–Forest match; GW9 starts on Saturday. The UK transitions between BST (UTC+1) and GMT (UTC+0), whereas Nepal remains at UTC+5:45 year-round.
What must you save before the deadline?
- All transfers, including whether any points hits will apply.
- Your starting XI and the legal formation.
- Captain and vice-captain.
- Bench order, especially if popular starters carry a doubt.
- Any chip that you explicitly intend to play.
Transfers entered after the deadline affect the following Gameweek, not the locked one. Check official Fantasy before confirming.
GW9 first fixtures
Chelsea–Man United, Bournemouth–Leeds, Man City–Brighton and several other fixtures start on Saturday 31 October. Liverpool–Arsenal follows on Sunday 1 November and Newcastle–Everton on Monday 2 November. Your intended chip and squad should account for the complete round, not only Saturday matches.

Example: converting the 31 October deadline
The official GW9 Fantasy deadline is 11:00 GMT, equivalent to 11:00 UTC. Nepal is UTC+5:45, so the deadline is 16:45 Nepal time. By comparison, GW8's 18:30 BST was 17:30 UTC, or 23:15 Nepal time. The clocks changed in the UK between these deadlines; Nepal's clocks did not. If a calendar or reminder displays “UK local time”, check that its time zone switches automatically.
Why the first kick-off matters
It is the scheduled first Premier League match of the Gameweek, not the first match you plan to watch, that sets the deadline. Saturday, Sunday and Monday matches can all belong to the same GW9 even though you must submit your XI before Chelsea–United kicks off on Saturday. A postponement or revised schedule may require a new official deadline, so verify in the Fantasy interface when preparing a deadline-day article.
