Gameweek 1 is already reshaping the FPL market. The useful question is not only who is being bought and sold, but whether those moves are supported by repeatable role, minutes and fixture evidence.
OneFPL Transfer Trends currently has Riccardo Calafiori, Martin Ødegaard, Mamadou Sangaré, Maxim De Cuyper, Michael Kayode and Christos Tzolis among the biggest transfer-ins. The leading transfer-outs include Pedro Porro, Ezri Konsa, Viktor Gyökeres, Micky van de Ven, Ismaïla Sarr, Bryan Mbeumo, Bruno Fernandes and Ollie Watkins.

| Viktor Gyökeres | 73k+ | Check role/minutes before following the crowd |
| Micky van de Ven | 64k+ | Spurs defensive concern |

Smart buys versus kneejerks
The strongest transfer-ins are players whose role evidence existed before the points. De Cuyper's advanced position was visible before GW1; Sangaré's Defensive Contribution profile was established before Brentford's win.
By contrast, one-off scorers without secure minutes or good upcoming fixtures should not be bought merely because they hauled.
Are managers selling Man Utd too quickly?
Manchester United's 2-0 loss to Hull was poor, but Ipswich at home is exactly the type of fixture managers bought Bruno and Mbeumo for. Selling before that fixture risks turning one disappointing result into a second reactive decision.
OneFPL verdict
Use transfer trends as information, not instructions. The best GW2 move combines secure minutes, repeatable role, useful next fixtures and a clear upgrade on the player being sold.
