A green arrow means your FPL rank improved.
A red arrow means your rank got worse.
Remember: a smaller rank number is better.

Because rank compares you with other managers.
While your player blanks, rivals may gain from:
- Goals
- Assists
- Captains
- Clean sheets
- Bonus
- Defensive contributions
Your score does not need to fall for your rank to fall.

If you own a popular player but many managers around you captain him, they receive more points from the same return.

Live arrows are provisional
Official FPL now updates ranks during matches, but the picture can still change because:
- Bonus is provisional
- Matches are still running
- Autosubs are not final
- Vice-captain promotion may apply
- Match data can be reviewed
Overall rank vs mini-league position
You can improve overall while falling in your mini-league.
That happens because your mini-league rivals own a different combination of players from the wider FPL population.
