What does Triple Captain do?
Triple Captain makes your selected captain score three times their normal points instead of two for one Gameweek.
In 2026/27 you receive two Triple Captain chips:
- one for the first half of the season;
- one from Gameweek 20 onwards.
The first must be used before the Gameweek 19 deadline.
Does Triple Captain use your free transfer?
No.
Your weekly transfer allowance works normally.
You can transfer a player, bank the transfer or take a normal points hit and still use Triple Captain.
Can Triple Captain be cancelled?
Yes.
The chip is selected on the Pick Team page and can be cancelled before the Gameweek deadline.
What if the captain does not play?

A short cameo counts as playing, so the chip stays on the captain.
Can Triple Captain be used with another chip?
No.
Only one chip can be active in a Gameweek.
You cannot combine Triple Captain with Wildcard, Free Hit or Bench Boost.
How many Triple Captains do you get?
Two in 2026/27: one in each half of the season.
Unused first-half chips do not carry into the second half.
