What does Wildcard do?
Wildcard gives you unlimited permanent transfers for the Gameweek.
Transfers already made in that Gameweek also become free when the Wildcard is active.
Do you lose banked transfers?
No.
Previously saved free transfers are maintained.
If you had two saved free transfers before the Wildcard, you still have two for the following Gameweek.
Can Wildcard remove a -4 or -8 hit?
Yes.
When the Wildcard becomes active, transfers already made in that Gameweek become free and the associated transfer deductions are removed.
Can you cancel a Wildcard?
The current official FAQ adds an important distinction.
- If the Wildcard is still Pending with zero or one confirmed transfer, it can still be cancelled.
- Once a second transfer is confirmed, it becomes Active and is locked in.
After it is active, it cannot be reversed.
Are Wildcard transfers permanent?
Yes.
Unlike Free Hit, your new squad stays after the Gameweek.
Can you Wildcard in Gameweek 1?
The chip is unavailable for your opening Gameweek because transfers are already unlimited before the first deadline.
How many Wildcards do you get?
Two in 2026/27 — one in each half.
The first must be used before the Gameweek 19 deadline.
Can Wildcard and Bench Boost be used together?
No. Only one chip can be active in a Gameweek.
A common strategy is to Wildcard first, then Bench Boost in a later Gameweek.
